Our real estate team is lead by Rosemary Calcese, Esq. who has represented developers, owners, equity investors, home builders, lenders, government entities and other real estate professionals in all aspects of real estate ownership, finance, development, management and disposition. Rosemary’s team has a deep understanding of the real estate business and strives to provide our clients with sound legal counsel and practical solutions. Our clients look to us to “get the deal done,” and we work proactively to resolve issues and close transactions quickly.
Our work spans all property types, from raw land to complex mixed-use and shopping center developments, and has involved projects throughout the U.S. We help our clients negotiate and close the full range of real estate transactions, including permanent and tax-exempt bond financing, as well as REAs, equity investments, joint ventures, ownership restructures and sale/leaseback transactions.
The Firm has extensive experience handling all types of real estate transactions. The Firm’s attorneys can assist with contract preparation, review, and negotiation; title insurance; title examination; due diligence; zoning and land use; clearing title; 1031 tax deferred exchanges; lease review, preparation and negotiation; financing; entity formation including limited liability companies and partnerships; and real estate closings.
In order to better serve its clients, the Firm’s managing partner also owns a title insurance agency called Transformation Title and Escrow. The title company provides settlement agent services, research services, escrow services, and issues title insurance policies
